Current Projects and Works-In-Progress
So just to update everyone, I'm in the editing phase of "Texas Girl Grit," the sequel to "Texas Hell Cat." It seems I've been writing "Grit" forever, having started it while I was editing the last Southern book. Then high school graduation happened for my baby...then Air Force boot camp and graduation...then we moved MY BABY all the way to California! I'm just now getting used to the "empty nest syndrom," and I'm back in the writing groove! I hope to have a cover reveal for the novel soon (I think it's my best one yet,) and brace, because "Texas Girl Grit" will hit Amazon and Barnes & Noble fall 2016!

The long-awaited sequel to "Texas Hellcat," my next novel continues the story of Kelly Sanger and Liam Covington. The last book left you with a cliffhanger, and boy, will you drop a few feet more this time around. I will finally tie up the loose ends about Kelly's stalkers and Liam's political enemies. But first, we have to have a beach wedding, suprise reveals, sex-tapes, scandals, and good-ole boy Texas politics to heat things up. I've thrown in a couple of new characters, and the romance heats up for Tana, Jen and Sunni. What could be more exciting than the quarterback for the Texans, Sean Reynolds, Liam's hot bodyguard and ex-teammate Scott, and a world-champion professional bull-rider named Colt thrown into the mix? Wait and see, because it will take a girl with Texas Grit to navigate this plot!

The Killer In Her Mind
Hmmm...I can't believe I'm actually deciding on a name this early in the writing process, but my posse of girlfriends from high-school voted unanimously while floating in the pool drinking margaritas. Since this is the most scientific method I've used so far to name one of my novels, I think I'll stick with it. (My other choice, which I love too, is "Serial Thoughts." Either way, I can't wait to introduce you to the new characters I've created, and you are guaranteed to fall in love with my newest hot Alpha male, Grayson. Add a young college grad with a dark secret, a stalker, and a Marine brother deployed to Afganistan who can't protect her, and you have my latest work-in-progress. Watch for updates about this project, and until I start posting excerpts, you can check out my boards for all my books on Pinterest.

Southern ?????
Okay, yup, I'll admit the pressure is getting to me. The question most asked is, "Will there be another book in the Southern Series?" Well, yes, there will be. I'm yet to determine what direction I will take, but I will tell you there will be lots more of your favorite characters like Everett, Constance, John and Brie. Oh, and of course, Chandler, Banton and the twins. I just can't decide what point of view I want this story line to take...so maybe we will vote? Watch for updates on this project, hopefull in full swing in 2017!

Another exciting project for 2017

I had hoped at this point in my writing career I would have a publisher, editor, and an assistant to take care of such mundane tasks as publishing my books on audio. Alas, I'm a one-woman show, still waiting to be discovered by LIttle, Brown & Co. or Random House. Until I get that big movie deal, I'm afraid I will have to act as my own assistant. This assistant's job, in addition to writing, editing, and blogging, will be to interview voices and get the Southern Series published in audio format. So be watching for that big development, and expect to hear Chandler's voice tell her story very soon!
